Top management of Ethiopian Investment Holdings held a discussion and working visit with the management of EIIDE

The recently established and launched yarn processing center at Fransay Le Gassin branch of Ethiopian Industrial Inputs Development Enterprise (EIIDE), conducted a field visit and observation at Alsam and Buluko textile factories on September 19 and 20/2025.
Mr Alemayehu W/Yohannes, Director of the Project Research and Monitoring Directorate, of EIIDE noted that the establishment of a yarn processing center at EIIDE add value to raw cotton, ensure a reliable supply of quality yarn for domestic markets, create employment, and boost national industrialization and help to fulfill government development goals and strengthen the economy. By supporting the transformation of raw cotton into higher-value products, this center also facilitate the development of a robust, integrated textile value chain. The purpose of the visit was to acquire from similar institutions that have extensive experience and expertise in the field, and to further enhance the production and productivity of the center by strengthening their production capacity.
The employees, who participated in the visit, visited the yarn processing department of both factories, from the preparation of product inputs to the production stage.
Finally, Ato Alemayehu W/Yohannes, stated that the experiences and best practices gained during the field visit will be recorded and expanded to the center for implementation.
